3D Printing
3D Printing is a class where you not only get to print random things but you get design ideas and make them real. You will learn how to combine squares, circles and other pre-made shapes into objects you want to print. You will also learn how to send those designs to a printer, load the printer and check to see if it is printing correctly (sometimes it doesn’t). It looks very technical and difficult but it just looks that way. There are second graders designing and printing in schools across the country. Throughout the year, we will have design challenges and contests to see who can make the best design or best use of space but your grade will be based on how hard you try. See our video assignments here - https://bit.ly/3DTeacher The one thing about 3D printing is that you will rarely get it right the first time. If you’re willing to make mistakes and keep trying, this is the class for you.
