Hello DRA Community,
I'm Sheila Pottorff (Pot/torff), and I'm thrilled to be joining DRA as new Assistant Principal. I am starting my 36th year in education, with 25 years being at the middle level. I've worked on projects like implementing the Where Everyone Belongs program to ensure a smooth transition to middle school, along with PBIS and MTSS systems to support students in finding success at the middle level
My goal is for me to get to know each of you and find how I can support building a positive climate and culture so we enjoy coming to work each day. I’m looking forward to working with each of you to make this vision a reality."
Together, we can achieve great results by modeling Accountability, Integrity, and Respect, so our students can demonstrate these skills in their daily actions. This will not happen overnight, and I believe we are the staff that can make it happen!
